About Me

By 5:40am, you'll find me circling the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, clearing my head before diving into a day that might include anything from coaching a nonprofit executive to kneading sourdough for my side hustle, Baked by Len.

My Day In, Day Out

I'm the Director of Coaching at Urban Youth Workers Institute, where I get to equip youth workers across the country through leadership development, trauma-informed training, and coaching that actually transforms organizations. I'm also deep in my Doctor of Ministry journey at Fuller, researching something close to my heart: creating restorative care systems for crossover youth, those kids caught between child welfare and juvenile justice who deserve so much better.

Coming Soon…

My newest venture? The Well Collective, a nonprofit I just incorporated to provide comprehensive aftercare for these young people. Because 13+ years of urban ministry in New York City juvenile detention centers taught me that we can't just intervene, we need to walk alongside them for the long haul.

Using My Voice

As a former reverend in the Church of the Nazarene, I've learned that preaching is about being a midwife of the Word, helping people birth truth into their own lives. Now I'm a certified Working Genius Facilitator who loves helping leaders discover their God-given design, a speaker passionate about soul care and healing, and yes, a serious sourdough baker whose holiday market booth was apparently a hit.

When I'm not writing confrontation papers or developing five-element frameworks, you'll catch me traveling, hunting down incredible food, or binging the latest crime show.

BS in Criminology from SUNY Old Westbury, M.Div. from Princeton Theological Seminary, Fuller DMin candidate, bread artist, Rose Bowl regular. I contain multitudes, and I'm here for all of it.
